I just don't understand why we don't feed the ball to Timmy in that last play. Automatic double team drawn for a kickout...if not, who else do you trust on this team to make a play one on one.
    I agree.

And if Tim can't make that play against a Krstic or Collison, then we're in deep trouble.

Manu has to be going crazy sitting out these games. Tonight is a night when I wish Pop would've blown his top and gotten tossed. Maybe Coach Bud could've gotten us the win!

Bottom line=turnovers cost us the game.
And also FTs, only 7-12 from the line and we lost by 2

because nobody else can create his own shot!
another reason we miss Manu. Gooden can create shots on the block, but for some reason, Pop put in bag Bonner to end the game...re ed .

There are 4 other guys on the court. 18 seconds is ample time to get the ball moving for an open shot.

It ing urks me that we can't give our FRANCHISE PLAYER the ball in a game deciding situation in the final seconds, especially against these two scrubs. I guarantee with Tim having the ball we get the two best shots. An open kickout or him making a play for himself.

Yup...another game lost at the FT line. Poor FT shooting = losing a playoff series. TP better work on that .

Since Manu's been out and Tim's been less than his normal self. TP is hogging the ball too much and not creating enough for the other guys. I noticed this a couple games ago, when he would dribble and dribble and I wasn't seeing the ball movement we've become accustomed too. That's why Manu has to come back, so Tony can remember how to create and move the ball more. How many assists did TP have tonight?

Recently Spurs had some great match ending action written. That last simply sucked. They where sophmores with freshman coach and they won match ending ?? Something is wrong

Turnovers, Free-throws, 3-18 from 3 pt land, come on guys we always make at LEAST about 7-8 3 ptrs a game. It was just a ing off night against a bad ing team like we usually play against crappy teams. If the Spurs can beat Boston and Houston this wk, I can forgive them for this loss.

You guys much have been watching a different Bowen. The Bowen I saw looked like he was about to fall over and couldn't stay in front of anyone.
Face it, when your defensive ace-in-the-hole is almost 40 years old, maybe it's time to turn the page.
He only played 4 minutes. I'm glad you can make an assessment in that amount of time, Laker fan.

Good thing is at least New Orleans lost tonight....so the closest team's to us...Portland, Denver, Houston, and New Orleans all have 25 losses, we have 22. We are still in the driver's seat.

Yeah, methinks they just didn't take the game seriously enough. I'm fine with a 2 or 3 seed, we just need them to be playing consistently solid basketball. Those games you mentioned should tell us if there's anything to worry about.

yep, Tony's been hogging the ball a lot. He's scoring a lot, but the Spurs are 5-5 in Last10.

What I find funny is that I saw some posts in here saying "WE need Manu" "If only Manu was there" "I miss Manu.

Man, sorry to say but if we truly need Manu (which we shouldn't) to beat the OKC Thunders then we are in serious trouble.

This lose was pathetic, our team has no excuses to have lost this one.

Spurs should be in their groove by now, new guys worked in, playing their game rather than getting played.

Spurs: 13 points in the 4th, with Mason, Udoka, Hill shooting 4-17 in the game. That's Parker getting no help from his fellow backcourt mates. The blame is distributed all around for the performance. But we still should've pulled out an ugly win by at least playing smart basketball.
