If us Spurs fans are touchy after a chokejob in the regular season, you guys must've been downright suicidal after last year's Game 4 debacle.
I can just see Dr. House sucking on the barrel of a .357 after that game.
Again this thread is not about last season. Stay on topic.
We're only talking about choke jobs occurring THIS YEAR which by my calculations does not include the 2008 Finals.
6 missed free throws in the last 1:30. Words can't describe the epic failure that occurred tonight.

Pretty irritating. But alas, just a regular season game. If you think this chokejob is somehow significant, I can't imagine how you felt after Game 4.
How close did you come to ending it all?
im a spursfan and i can fully admit we CHOKED HARDCORE, its was horrific, yes we deserve to be laughed at tonite. i am on the brink of flipping over tables and throwing furniture and small animals around

HOU on Sunday is more of a big game than tonight was.
Regular season doesn't matter...but if you'd like to mention choke jobs...I'd say the bigger choke was the Lakers being up 14 against the Sixers and losing it in less than 3 minutes into the 4th and of course not knowing when to foul.
better choking now than in PO and yes we choked tonite.
The Lakers are not new to choking big leads away. They've done it all season. Almost did it again last night. The only thing that saved LA's ass was the human turnover machine Stephen Jackson. For the life of me I still can't understand why Nellie lets that guy handle the ball lol. And I'm wondering if LA ever recovered from last year's epic 24 point choke on their home floor. No lead is safe with them and it seems like other teams are carching on that LA is soft.

You love talking about last year, unless someone brings up the Finals.
Still only 2nd to the Lakers' choke job by L.A in game 4 of the 2008 NBA Finals![]()
yeah, 6 straight misses by 80% FT shooters...CHOKE
They're defending champs & were favorites tonight!!
What about :

I think the "choke" came on Monday when the Spurs played @ Oklahoma City!!![]()
In that last 1:30 the Spurs had an 8-on-5 advantage and 6 FT's with their 2 most reliable foul shooters...now that's impressive chokage
They have 14, so I wouldn't brag too much abut that
what about game 1 WCF between lakers and spurs when the chokers choked a 20 point lead against the lakers.
the spurs are going for a back to back Choke Job rings after todays Good effort.
1:30 seconds left in the game.
Two horribly biased blown calls go against the Celtics.
6 F/T opportunities.
The Spurs two 80% F/T shooters MISS ALL 6 FREE THROWS. Good God that is some epic choking, you really have to try hard to emulate that.
Even my 3 year old son would laugh at you right now.

There was nothing at stake to provide enough pressure to cause the team to choke. You've marked yourself with this thread Dr. House. You better hope the Lakers don't pull off a REAL choke job come the postseason or this thing will resurrect itself and won't die until the start of next season.
I'd rather the Spurs choke a regular-season game instead of ohhh I dunno TWO clinching Finals games to your opponent by 30 pts or so. (04' to the Pistons, 08' to the Celtics)
