    Good first half mostly.

It's a shame that Hill couldn't get some minutes though.

no, he needs to be playing like that for the Spurs to have any kind of success.
Ford is killing on the other end though.

    I'd rather be it stable.

Sadly true. And he's not as realiable with that corner 3 ball either. But he has been better at driving to the basket.
He is shooting 43% on his 3pts. I would not say it's not that realiable.

Truth of the matter is, Bruce played most of the second quarter, and it was a of a better defensive quarter.
and he's rusty...if he gets more minutes, he'll shake it off and then we'll see if he's lost a step.

Hill is not TWICE the defender than Vaughn like Bowen is twice the defender that Finley is.
yeah but hes a better defender and better on offense.

and someday he will be twice the defender vaughn ever was.

63 at the half is real nice. But giving up 55 in a half to the ing pacers is unforgivable

Yeah its not like they have one of the top 5 scorers in the NBA.

    Oh wait.....

That's what it's come down to - crossing our fingers that the opponent's best swing player won't light us up. Sad, really.

Bruce had to decline sooner or later, but the offseason priority has to be an athletic wing defender.

Finley has stayed in front and contested his shots.

No other defender can do any better than that.

    6pts 1ast = not "killing it"

when Parker is roaming around being conservative the Spurs are in deep , just look at the last 2 games. He has to remain aggressive.

Come on man, we allow 55 to the Pacers, what are the Lakers gonna drop on us? The D has been terrible for the last few games.

The second quarter was a slight improvement on the first, but that's all.

Pop is a deliberate butcher of player's psyches. Putting JV in instead of Hill is a deliberate slap in the face. It's his hometown for crying out loud. It would be a nic eboost for Hill to be inserted in the first half. But of course, Pop's ego won't allow him to do that.

Never mind the fact that Hill is significantly better than JV and we all know it.

I've played for dictator coaches like Pop before, and it's a nightmare. Guys don't know their roles, they're constantly being jerked around, and it messes with the young guys' minds to the point where they wonder if they're good enough to even be in the league.

If this moron didn't have Tim Duncan, he would be lucky to have two years under his belt, and his career record would be 45-119.

(looks at what I typed again)

    Nope never said that.

Get your head out of your ass and read it again.

All I said was he stayed with Granger and contested, thats all you an ask any defender.

Again, what do you do when a player like him is making contested jumpers?
