It got West and Williams going. Sadly, this happened within minutes of Pop saying he was happy that Lebron scored 18 points in the first quarter because "nobody else is involved."
    West too.

I'm not usually on JV's case but he was a major reason why the tide turned. Mo and West weren't doing jack until they saw JV and their eyes lit up.

    Parker - Hill
    Mason - Ginobili
Bowen - Finley (if more scoring is needed)
    Duncan - Gooden
    Thomas - Bonner

ing simple. Defense first. Use your young talent instead of banking on one-dimensional and inconsistent vets.

Another excellently coached game. Thanks Pop.
you can't win if your HOF PF is playing like a scrub or if your HOF SG is sucking ass against the best team in the League

Someone needs to punch pop in the face if he says "we just missed shots" one more time. I think some cognitive function went with that carcinogenic growth. I'm not joking.

the sad thing is ; this blow-out probably won't even make pop think a little

he will probably think they lose because manu and timmy were bad ( which is somewhat right) and not think about his rotation and his coaching....

The way we're playing now we'd need a miracle to get out of the 1st round.

    IT'S SIMPLE.

Starters: TP, Mason, Bowen, TD, Thomas or Gooden.

Bench: Hill, Manu, Finley, Gooden or Thomas (depending on who starts), and Bonner.

Absolutely NO Vaughn and NO Udoka.

Vaughn is consistent, in that he sucks. And why he got over 3x the minutes Hill did, no one but Pop understands.

If Manu continues to start, then keep Gooden in the 2nd unit(he's been so efficient as a Spur it's unreal). He likes to score, which wouldn't work with all the Big 3 on as well.

Well Bowen got 17 minutes, so half my wishes for this game came true.

EDIT: And lol at Hill being the only pos in the +/- stat. Another reason why that stat blows chunks, Gooden and TP should've been the only positives this game.

all I can hope is that Pop's lack of concern for the regular season is the explanation for all this. i'll try to refrain from bashing him any more til I see what he does in the playoffs. if he shortens the rotation and puts his best players on the court in the post-season, then we still have a fighting chance. like buster douglas against mike tyson.

Spurs stuck with the Cavs for the 1st, 3rd, and 4th qtrs. They lost this game in the 2nd qtr. Only scored 15 compared to the Cavs 27.
