i'm talking about the early hiatus ya'll will take from this site when your season ends early
if the SPurs beat the Lakers, i guarantee you all the Lakers fans will be gone. there will probably be a few that pop back up in a few months that post here and then.

*cue the i've been a die hard Laker fan for 20+ years*

If Mav fans are smart they will stick around and root for the Lakers and watch the old ass Spurs get humiliated on live TV as we both shed tears of joy!

Huh? The only crying I've ever known a Laker to do is in defeat to the Spurs (see WCF 2003).

You're right. Got my order mixed up. The Lakers were the larger looming opponent (especially with Dirk missing) so I tend to get the order of teams jumbled.

they will win the draft lottery and not have rights to the pick.
Wrong. NJ had the 2008 pick and they will have the one in 2010. It's against the rules to trade two first rounders in a row.

IF the Mavs don't make the playoffs, the J-Kidd trade and expectations that rode with it could not prove to be any more of a failure.

The Mavericks traded Devin Harris to the New Jersey Nets for Jason last before last year's trade dead line.
