From a big picture standpoint that loss locks Sacto into the worst record in the league and the most ping pong balls in the Blake Griffin sweepstakes. They'll probably get over it.
yeah that loss but get them the number one pick

They CAN'T. The rules don't allow them. It is a RULE problem, not a ref problem.
I understand the rule states that. What I meant is the NBA needs to use common sense and change that rule. Clearly, the refs can't.

I'll take the win though. We have been on the other side of many calls. Don't you think it's about time we caught a break?

they were without duncan and manu
also it was fan night for kings
kings wanted to win for fans
also kings were on fire from downtown first half
This argument would be warranted but it's been like this all year.

That rule needs to be changed though - all controversial calls in the final two minutes should be reviewable, which would stop bad blood like this.

If it takes a screwed up call by the refs to beat the worst team in the NBA less than a week before the playoffs begin, the Spurs are in bad shape regardless. And before you mention Tim, remember Sacramento was missing their best player.

If anything, they should be happy we did win. Gets them closer to possibly getting an extra ball in the lottery for Griffin!
Exactly !!! maybe this is the best decision ever for the kings, the call that will enable them to have a future in the league ! they will thank you us during 20 years for that.

Thats what I'm thinking that sure they got screwed but really it had no impact on their season considering they were out of the playoff hunt. In a sick way this loss might end up helping them get Blake Griffin. If that happens I'm sure King fans will end up laughing how this loss was a blessing in disguise.

No, the refs should have called a shot-clock violation. It was ridiculously obvious.
Sorry, I agree, I was one of the first to comment that that was a very poor call and that it was clearly a late shot, but the fact is that once they made it it couldn't be rectified. THAT is a RULE problem.

If you read my other posts, you would see that I stated these type of plays need to be reviewed. This was posted after I said that.

The red light around the backboard did NOT go off. That's what the refs key off to make the late call.

    BULL .

If this game mattered, fine, but in the greater scheme of things it doesn't.

That .4sec Fisher bull (which actually took about 0.8sec) robbed us of a potential b-2-b championship, which is a different matter.
At least all us Spurs fans are agreeing in this thread for once Ruff.

THAT IS STRAIGHT UP BS FROM that Laker fan.
