Coach Obradovic is one of best coaches in the world. Popovich has asked him how can he get better as a coach and for help and advice.

He is one of the best coaches that has ever lived. He has coached players like Dimitris Diamantidis, Dejan Bodiroga, Peja Danilovic, Vlade Divac, Arvydas Sabonis, Alberto Herreras, Zoran Savic, Sasha Dordevic, Zeljko Rebraca, Fragiksos Alvertis, Zarko Paspalj, Ferran Martinez, Jordi Villacampa, Denis Marconato, Jaka Lakovic, Saras Jasikevicius, Darryl Middleton, Johnny Rogers, Antonis Fotsis, Lazo Papadopoulos, Ibrahim Kutluay, Mike Batiste, Nikola Pekovic, Nikos Hatzivrettas, Damir Mulamerovic, Dejan Tomasevic, Sani Becirovic, Dimos Dikoudis, Ramunas Siskauskas, Milos Vujanic, Drew Nicholas

All these players at one time or another considered among the best Euroleague players. And Obradovic said that Spanoulis is the most talented player he has ever coached. Some of those players he has coached is in the list of best European players that ever lived.

Spanoulis is not perfect he has some issues as a player like all players in history well maybe prime Jordan was perfect but other than him. Anyway, Spanoulis is much better than most NBA point guards. It really does not matter if NBA fans and their arrogance cannot figure it out.

You know in Panathinaikos fans they call Spanoulis "Mistake Machine" and he is probably one of the most hated players even in PAO. It is because of his skills and his ability.

If there is a player in the world as hated as Kobe it is Spanoulis. Some even call him "Euro Kobe". There are some that recognize such talent for what it is then some who insanely hate such players and only call them "selfish" "ball hogs" and things like this. It is just difference between stupid fans and smart ones. Just like stupid coaches like Van Gundy who can only use robots or smart coaches like Jackson who understand how to control such players.

As I've said, I drop more knowledge in the toilet than you'll ever know. It's like this that makes people bash you. But you are "radio sports guy" of course you know better. Popovich is a great coach and he is always trying to make Spurs better and this includes asking Obradovic about some of his tactics.

I just think it's absolutely hilarious that you just say things so matter of factly, but you have no proof. You have nothing. There's no link, no story, no nothing. I do know who Obradovic is..and yes..he's a great coach over there..but that's a different style of basketball all together...not saying he couldn't coach here, but it's a different game. How do you know that? I dont know much about this spanoulis situation, but i do know you should not believe the Greek media so much, as we also should not believe any other press in the Balkans. Balkan media is garbage.

Spanoulis is not a Spur, therefore it is not Spur related. It is about a Euro League player, and Euro League talk belongs in the NBA Forum..oh, and they don't need to make you look bad...you do a good enough job of that yourself.

Yes. They make fun of him because JVG called him this and Sam Fisher say it like a million times in Rockets board. In Greek way of look at it, turnover would be "mistake" so "turnover machine" would be "mistake machine" so they make fun of him a lot with this.

They also many of them call him "V-Splinter" another one. This is because Rockets fans give him nickname "V-Span" so to make fun of him and insult him they came up with "V-Splinter" because they say "JVG game him a splinter by benching his ass"
