Stay hungry Spurs, stay hungry.
The reffing has become so bad it's ruining games.
No-one knows what a block/charge is any more, nor what sort of contact is allowed where, and they constantly make mistakes in the last 2 minutes of games that should be reviewable but aren't. It's ruining the game.
I think we need a "video ref" sitting on the sidelines, who the refs can refer to in the last 2 minutes of halves.
We also need to get back to a proper block/charge call paradigm - far too many charges are called these days. You have to be set to get the block.
Stay hungry Spurs, stay hungry.
Dude, he's ing PLUS EIGHTEEN. If you can't give him credit when he plays this ing well, then just keep it to yourself, because there's no way he's ever going to make you happy.
well I am sure no one's surprised Jason Terry has tried to injure someone in a series with the Spurs...
We need to send KT out there to knock that head on his ass. He's a punk.
Their shooting coach is pretty good, evident in their FT shooting. He'll probably help Tony on his FT's better than the current one.
Kidd hitting his threes this year compared to last year![]()
KT or Gooden....he needs to be flattened.
I know refs are human and this is a fast game, but geez, they should at least be consistent. How in the world do they expect the players to know how to play when something is called one game and not the next. Or when something is called on one end and not the other!!
That's my feeling, too.
This is what the lineup should be to start 3rd.
PG- Parker
SG-Finely
SF-Bowen
PF-Gooden
C-Duncan
Exactly. This is something I was very pissed out about in the first half. How about we stop double teaming Dirk and stay on the 3 point shooters?????
In a way I'm glad the Spurs go into the locker room with that ref-created surge at the end of the half. It should keep them humble and hopefully they come out in the 3rd and play with some energy and aggressiveness.
"I'm gonna try something fancy...watch this."
If you're going to about the officiating you should probably read the rulebook first. You don't have to be set to draw a charge, which is what I assume you meant. The NBA should just make it a block in all but the most obvious cases, which would encourage people to actually try to play defense instead of trying to get bailed out by the refs.
Bad news: The Spurs should have extended the lead in the 2nd quarter.
Good news: The Spurs didn't lose the lead that they had.
Not good though. I'm sort of expecting them to have another epic turd quarter.
I seriously wouldn't mind KT throwing an elbow to the skull of Terry. Terry is such a bag, I hate that .
Anyways, the defense needs to play D in the 2nd half like they did for most of the 1st half. , even Finley played good defense on Dirk on a couple of plays.
oh shut the up. +18 means , that's a bull "stat." bonner's played well but his defense is still terrible.
dallas +10 from the line. Who is driving and scoring in the post? Who is the home team? Will someone please tell the refs it's us.
Parker had like 2 open 3's that almost went in. If he can hit open threes consistently the guy's going to be one of the top scorers in the league night after night.
We came out flat in the second half last game... I wanna see we learned our lesson.
That's all I'd like to see. It's frightening how inconsistent it is. That said, the Bulls have overcome the same type of officiating and if they could have grabbed a rebound in the last five minutes they'd be up 2-0 despite playing five on eight.
Dirk is getting a royal bailout... it felt like there was 10 late whistles out there.
