We blew this game. The Blazers did what they needed to do, but we pissed the bed on this one.
Yes, the blzrs adjusted, yes the rox missed free throws, however this has to be the most incompetent officiating crew I have ever seen. Shane was guarding Roy very nicely--2 calls in particular: Shane had a clean all-ball block on Roy and they called a foul, secondly Shane played great no-contact, hand in face defense on Roy, and Roy fell back and they called a foul on Shane. Oden was wrapping Yao up with his arms--no call, he pushed yao back after a whistle right on the chest, no tech. There were several calls where the blzrs last touched the ball b4 it went out of bounds and they gave possession to the blazers. I mean, this looked so scripted by the league where Stern gave the order. that Stern. Congrats for the blzrs, but stern that fat .

No surprise to see the rocketfans pull the ol' ref card.
The bold is all that needs to be said. Rockets make their throws, it's a non-issue.
Nice sig pic of Roy, by the way.![]()
Yeah I don't think it had anything to do with Roy and Aldridge taking a huge on the rockets.
The Blazers are so good at home because the refs pretty much have to call the game in their favor else risk being lynched by Blazer fans. It's the same way in Utah.
The Rockets already did what they needed to do by stealing Game 1. They damn near stole Game 2. The series has now swung to HCA in their favor and it is theirs to lose.
I won't as long as we can expect the same home cookin' the blazers got.
We sound like all you damn Faker fans after you played Portland.![]()
Yea its at both ends of teh spectrum. Utah is allowed to play overly physical and portland is called really tight because they play soft.
Utah is worse because they can be overly Physical on Defense and get called tight on offense.
Yes, roy and aldie played much better and got their #s, but it took some poor officiating and 5 missed free throws for them to win at home.
I expect the same kind of calls in our favor in Houston.
Rox have to find a way to get Yao more shots.
mormon juju.
If it takes Roy to go for 41 points and Aldridge to go for 28 while hitting all sorts of fade aways just to barely beat us on their homecourt im confident with our chances of winning the series.
Well props to the Blazers for having a good game plan and yes if we hit our free throws we win this game. But if the game were called right, we would have won the game by 10. 20 pts if we hit the free throws and if the game were called correctly.
^ Yea but AB and Von had an insane game as well...
lol!@ this coming from a Laker fan, that's funny. What would you know about calls going against your team?![]()
I look forward to us raping them Friday. KOBE STYLE!!!!
and you wont see Yao with that pathetic performance again in this series(i hope)
Scola and Landry also underperform tonight
Landry has yet to get untracked but I expect that he will.
I don't expect him to do anything in this series. He has looked like since he came back. To be honest he started to look a little ty before he got shot. I hope they trade him for draft picks, and bring Leunen back from overseas. He is as effective a rebounder, and has a much more consistent 18 ft. jumper. He is even better on defense. He would make it much harder to double Yao when Scola isn't in the game. Did I mention he can shoot the three?
the rockets just lost a game they were supposed to lose, by far no team has won two games on road in this postseason. I think the rockets still own the money to buy a ticket for the second round, it's just a question of time to make the second round. Congrats rockets for ending their second round virginityGO ROCKETS and yao.
Don't jinx them. They might come to the 2nd round prematurely.
