Why is anyone surprised by this?
Without Manu, we have only one slasher, TP, so that means every team can clog the paint on him. They do that, we miss the open jumpers, oila, down 16 at the half.
The problem here is offense, the D has been okay.
Hill redeems himself. 16 point game. Can someone tell me why Duncan was out in the 2nd? Did he pick up his 3rd?
we're down by just 16...When Bonner scrores 30 points in the seconf half we'll all be happy.
not watching since it's on nba tv...but maybe pop is using scrubby lineup in hopes that Dallas will play down to spurs' level and cool off before he sends parker and duncan back in the 2nd half
16 is actually pretty good considering what we could have been down by..we also start with the ball..obviously we'll need Duncan to make some shots and Parker to find his brain though..
Spurs need to take this half to calm down. This game is not over. If you can cut it to single digits by the 4th there is a chance.

I think Tim and Tony get a pass they just are having a bad night, but nobody is trying to take the pressure off them with Manu out. They're just a bunch of soft wimps and ghosts.
OK..so we're down 16 at the half..the way we're playing, it should be a lot worse..still think we're in this game. The Udoka, Hill, Vaughn, KT, Gooden lineup actually didn't do bad..but PLEASE put Tony and Timmy back in to start the second half...

I wish this were true speaking as a fan but Pop has given up. Hard to make a come back when the coach shows he doesnt care to wn the game anymore.

You solve that by moving the ball crisply and hitting open looks.
Problem with Vince is that he only goes to the hole when he feels like it, and he's getting old. He often gets into a funk and jacks the same sort of our team has been throwing up this game.

This could be far worse. At least we have played decent defense. On offense, anything that could have gone wrong has. A Vaughn sighting just solidifies this. Hopefully a different team will emerge from the locker room for the second half.
In the 3rd we must get to a 5-10 point game...If it will be more than a 10 point lead by Dallas its over.
Duncan wasn't doing anything but drawing fouls and passing out of double teams in there.
