Good point.
I have plenty of teams in other leagues that have won plenty of championships, and yet I somehow find a way to not act like an arrogant bag toward rival fans.
I'm also not naive (or blind) enough to believe that team's fans are any different or more classy than any other team's. Spurs, Mavs, Kings, 76ers, whoever...every single team in this league, or any league, has great fans and asshole fans.
Good point.
6'1, 180.
stupid thread...If this was about tonight's Mavs game, I would have given credit..instead, with this bag comment, I say one thing...

Depends on which part of Dallas you live in. North of Mockingbird, yeah that's town. I live in the Bishop Arts area, most of the people there think the Mavericks are a musical group.
You'd probably still be an elite team with those two in the team.
Hypocrite (again).
Pot meet kettle. phobic slurs are common on SpursTalk. Such behavior is hardly the sole domain of Mav fans.
Part of American culture, unfortunately.
Diop is actually on the team, at least he was to start the season
I lived in Richardson, Plano, North Dallas, Mockingbird, uptown all over. There are cool people there, but when you go out (bars, clubs, concerts, mav games) you see a lot of tools.
Not a big deal, I was "friends" with some of those guys in the loosest terms, but it was a little annoying if you let it bother you. It always did eat me up to see how some of the people treated others there.
Happens everywhere, but more often in Dallas imo.
i'm sure you get half as many pms as timvp does as an admin on the site.
Uptown is the capital of town.
Vier Meisterschaften.
In reality, I only meant Harris.
Huge difference when people on a message board that are somewhat friends are jabbing and calling each other s. We do not hate each other. Dirk4Mvp and Bump are man-pleasing ass pirates, but I would hang out with them and watch a game.
People who are vile in person, being serious because that is who they are is different. The type of people who would talk and fight you over basketball as long as their friends are there. The people who do not even have enough respect to tone it down when there is a family of 4 that has young kids sitting next to them.
I really like the area though (cool bars, nice living/shopping and restaurants), too bad there are a lot of d-bags. But the young ladies and Dallacudas are lovely to look at.
well, 6 inches equals 15 pounds. accordingly timvp is 6'5, which is almost a formal height for a professional basketball player. I've been suspecting for a long time that timvp used to be a great basketball player in NBA, probably he has a household name. I assume he is Larry Johnson.
Ein Werkzeug.
Quarter bar is cool. Went there a lot. I usually went out in Addison (opposite direction)...Oh yea, that is another place I lived.
I like that it's a walkable neighborhood just north of downtown, but the crowds sometime are too much. I'm a FTW guy, it reminds me too much of what I dislike about Dallas.
It's funny when people say things like that by comparing him being the #1 option in New Jersey to being the 4th option on the Mavs. In other words, no the Mavs wouldn't.
A the Warriors guy?![]()
I'm married.
Sorry.
Are you guys battling with Google Translate? Just Google Earth each other and settle it.
