Anbody notice how many guys from small, non BCS schools have been going in the last couple of rounds? Seems like a load.

At this point I think Belichick is trading down just for the sake of making a trade. He's trying to set the record for most picks collected without actually drafting anybody.

Their draft seemed weird to me. Lauranidis seemed like a perfect ILB to put next to Mayo and ultimately ensure Bruschi's worthless ass never touches the field again, but instead they take some safety from Oregon that's horrible in coverage when coverage from the safety position was a huge problem for them last year.

I still think the draft was an overall big success for them because they added depth at tackle and guard (which is even more important with Brady's knee), they drafted Darius Butler who once developed will be great paired with Wheatley and best of all got rid of Hobbs who I still wonder why was on the team so long.
