Question for Rockets fans: Was Scola the MVP of your team this season?
Didn't mean to rubbed it in, but another article on Scola, I feel obligated to post it here.

Could you imagine Scola in a lineup that already includes Parker and Tim Duncan? That whole never-won-back-to-back bugaboo might have long ago been moot.
Tough call for MVP. Rockets are pretty balanced team. Yao gets the most attention offensively, but he has alot of help defensively. This team would have been pretty solid even with Deke starting at center.

The Spurs’ loss is the Rockets’ gain. At $3.1 million this season and $3.3 million next season, there might not be a better buy in the entire NBA than Scola

THere is no doubt in my mind that he is. Yao is the best player, Dekembe is the spiritual leader, but Scola is the heart of the team. His at ude towards the game is just amazing, the guy is special.
Scola has elevated his game and started to show off his total game this season. Last season Scola and Landry split their minutes but Scola has clearly been superior at this point in time. Landry is also a dangerous weapon but he needs to get his minutes. Different type of player. Scola is smarter and craftier. Landry is more athletic.
This will be Jackie Butler's legacy.

He is in a slight slump right now. In the 20 games before the playoff, he was a double double machine.
This series scola has been great, he stepped up big time when the blazers were laying off him and he continued to make them pay by hitting his shots without any trouble.. plus he's been pretty consistent on defense so far also... the total package.
the Spurs for trading this guy. Seriously. them.
