Coming back to the Mavs, are you guys seriously satisfied with your team over the last decade? They have seriously underachieved (with a lot of talent i might add). Be it the coach, the franchise player choking or the front office ups, Dallas should've won atleast two chips over this decade....

I don't understand something..Mavs fans can talk smack and have fun with Spurs fans, and it's funny...but we do the same, and all of a sudden we're angry funs...or "butthurt?" Please explain. I'm satisfied with what the Spurs have done. Without Manu, although I cheered my Spurs, and talked trash just like everyone else, I knew it'd be tough. And I was the first one to put out a "Congrats Mavs" thread. We had a good season this year with what we had to deal with.

I dont see why there is so much hate on Dirk. Him and Tim Duncan are true professionals. Rarely whine to the media, never get in off the court trouble, and are great teammates.
With franchise players its about the talent thats put around them. Dirk and Steve Nash were both good players but if you think that they should've won atleast two championships then you're ing re ed. Dirk simply does not have enough help to win a championship and never has. He would have to pull a Michael Jordan and almost did in 2006 where we overachieved not underachieved.

Franchise players are supposed to carry their teams. Duncan had a bunch of old farts and rookies in 2003 and yet he carried that team without a sweat. No... actually if you could do 2nd grade math you cold easily figure out that the Lakers average a le every 4.3 years and a finals appearance every other year. Of course some of those off spans are more than 4 years when you consider the repeats and 3peats.Oh wait, you probably can't comprehend that.
