Apparently you don't watch Laker games, if you see him, he tries to be buddy buddy with the ref with most of the calls. And yes he does get alot of calls.

I watch most Lakers games. And, I didn't say he doesn't get any calls. But, compared to other superstars in the league, in particular Wade and LeBron, Kobe doesn't get near the same amount of preferential calls. Sure, he gets more calls than the average player, but not for a superstar player.

Lol and a lot of Spurs fans admit that Timmy es about calls. Maybe some don't mind it so much because Timmy isn't so mean or menacing when he whines about calls. Kobe looks like he wants to go after the official's head when he es. Timmy just does the lost looked like "what I do?" But, you're right. Plenty of superstars, probably most of them, about calls. They're used to getting the benefit of the doubt and don't like it when they don't get it.
