Dribbling non stop and shooting on every posession can kill all the respect you have for a player.
Boston just outplayed Chicago, who seemed to forget what took this series to 7 (great interior rebounding and defense, and helter-skelter passing that destroyed the solidarity of the Celtics rotating D) and just settled for a bunch of 1 on 1s and iso's.
Disappointing, but the Bulls star is rising, while the Celtics has nearly burned out. Howard is going to have a FIELD DAY with the defense of Boston.
A photo from Game 5 that made the rounds appeared to show injured Celtics all-star Kevin Garnett screaming from the sideline in the ear of Bulls guard Ben Gordon.
At least 25 times per game, the cameras catch Garnett either cheering on his teammates, sticking his chin out or mouthing some R-rated language.
Bulls reserve forward Linton Johnson says Chicago fans shouldn't worry, because the No. 7 seed bench is holding its own in this series.
"Actually, we're leading. We're ahead in this thing," Johnson said Thursday. "It's just that KG is Kevin Garnett and they give him more airplay. But we're killing him on the other end. We had him so quiet when we were up 10 (in the fourth quarter of Game 5), he had to put his head down.
"He's Kevin Garnett, but if you look on the other end, we're giving it to guys. We're winning this battle of the bench, I'm telling you."
Johnson gave a rundown of his bench lineup. The Bulls do have a couple of loud guards in Lindsey Hunter and Anthony Roberson, while 7-foot center Aaron Gray brings intimidation potential.
"Lindsey, like the Vanguard. So we follow Lindsey," Johnson said. "We've got the muscle with Aaron. We've got a heck of a bench. If they ever turn that camera down on our end, they've got something really good. KG's by himself, but we've got the whole clan down there."
Do the Bulls' reserves ever hear what Garnett is yelling?
"We can read his lips," Johnson said. "With him, it's easy. He only says about five words."

What Ron Jeremy needs to do is what he learned in Game 6 with the Sixers. Run the ball down the Celtics throat. If they run no way can Perkins keep up with Howard.
Without garnet Howard is going to terrorize boston. We all know when the ball goes to howard it´s an automatic money shot.
ORL struggles against BOS with or without KG.

Orlando is going to the East Finals. Boston does not have enough to beat them. Not when they are missing KG and Powe.

Fun series. Now onto the next round where Howard is going to rape the living out of Perkins etc. Even if the Celts somehow win this series, it is still delaying the inevitable that their season is going to end sometime this month. At least it is comforting to know that the Celts wont lie down. They will fight with everything they have despite the injuries.

You realize that Orlando is 4-3 vs the Celtics the last 2 seasons. That includes a win in Boston. They might have no answer for Pierce but they have no answer for Howard. I don't see how you expect them to win when they struggle with Noah,Miller and Thomas.
I honestly think if Perkins plays well and does the best he an, Boston wins.
I'm reading through this thread after the fact... and honestly, half of the people posting sound like conspiracy nutjobs.
Oh, and if you went by the posters here, the Celtics committed approximately 2, 736 posts this game.
