ya, I'm so sick of these game time announcements of "flu games" for Wade, Kobe... Idon't think Lebron has had a "flu game" yet, but no one can do what MJ did that one night.
The Lakers have no answer for Yao Ming. That's going to be a major problem in this series for them if the Rockets know how to take advantage.

everyone keeps talking about how the Lakers need to wake up, but the Rockets aren't playing their game either. Both teams look sloppy and the only entertaining part of this game was when the benches were on the floor. Yao needs to get more involved.
I'm not really liking the officiating tonight. I don't really feel like either team is benefitting too much, but the calls are either missed or late. I absolutely HATE late whistles.

Interesting first half. I think the Lakers looked disjointed and didn't expect the physicality. They shot poorly too. Houston also didn't play very well, and outside Artest, they didn't shot the ball well either. I expect both teams to play better in the second half. If Houston wants to win, they are going to need more from Von Wafer, and more scoring from Scola.
Then again, seeing how Kobe struggled in the 1st half, maybe the best for Houston is to hope Kobe turns into a ball hog.
Lakers have to be careful with the foul situation. You don't want to have to play Powell much when Odom gives you good offense. And Bynum, well, he just needs to step up to the challenge.
Lakers should grab their shortest guy and put him on Yao...

Watching the Cavs, Celtics and Rockets now after the Spurs had their exit, leaves a lot to be desired from the Spurs. I hope they're watching and are looking to get back in the fold in 2010.

Im so sure of it. Im not talking trash but my anus is still sore the way Kobe has raped me and my team over and over again. He always does this , he can score whenever he wants but decides to wait until the fourth quarter just to get your hopes up until he cruelly and sadisticlly puts the foot on the gas. You know its coming but you cant stop it.

There's a difference...Brandon Roy came in as a rookie and was the team's entire focus...Kobe wasn't even a starter his first two years...
