i have often wondered if other cities are as respectful towards their team's players when in public as we are.
from what i have seen, on the few occasions that i have seen Spurs players in public, nobody really bothers them...sure there are looks and stares, but no one really goes up to the players or anything.
i often wonder if it is like this in other cities as well.
I wonder sometimes what goes on in the warroom during the summer while the offseason is active like whos RC and Pop REALLY talking to.
What players are they working out in the practice facility.

All I know is all the Spurs for the first time in a long time have a long summer vacation and I envy their money and vacation time.

Tim Duncan Staring At Wall Right Now
SAN ANTONIO—Two-time NBA MVP Tim Duncan has been sitting in his living room next to his packed gym bag and clad in his Spurs warm-up jersey for the past three months, concerned teammates reported Monday. Frankly, I hope that Pop, RC, all the assistant coaches, Peter Holt and any of the current Spurs who hope to be back in the Silver & Black next season are watching Denver undress the Dallas Mavettes. If this isn't a wake-up call for us to get younger, quicker, faster, longer and a whole lot more athletic then we have too many people in the organization with blinders on. It is night and day. Ditto watching Cleveland and Orlando. Tim, Tony, Manu & Hill plus ????????
