what if this thread never existed???
Most definitely if Manu & Tim weren't injured. A healthy Tim, Manu, Tony and company and add Scola into the mix and we'd have 6 or 7 NBA Championships.
And if Santa Claus had a AA Fuel sleigh, he'd get the job done by midnight each Christmas Eve. I know his Reindeer would be happier. That whip must sting.
And if Mrs. Claus had the body of a Playboy Centerfold Santa might not even go out on his annual trip around the world. Lots of little kids would sure be disappointed....but, ol' Santa would have a big smile on his face!
Yes, yes he is. Pretty damn good half.
Funny that the Big Baby thread didn't get bumped tonight after his 6pt 2 reb performance.
So lets see, for the teams still alive we can expect threads anytime one of the following players has a good game
Houston- Scola..nuff said
Lakers- Ariza...Spurs took Sanikidze one pick ahead of him
Magic- Hedo...Spurs didn't keep him
Nuggs- JR Smith...paperwork didn't get to league office in time to complete trade
Boston- Big Baby...Spurs take Marcus Williams two picks ahead of him (no need to mention that Boston selected Gabe Pruitt three picks ahead of him)
Maybe we could just sticky threads dedicated to those players to the top of the forum until their respective team is eliminated.
Oh, almost forgot...
Cleveland- You know, I can't come up with any Cav that would be a Spur if we only had a FO that was collectively smarter than a band of baboons.
GO CAVS GO
As in, good luck keeping their young nucleus together and getting anything about of their number one pick.
Manu works that hard, if not harder, when he isn't injured. (Tony too) It's easy to see why Argentina has been at the top of world basketball the past decade. Hopefully Manu returns at full strength with no after-effects on his ankles.
with a stick
Scola's case isn't anything like the others, everybody already knew that Scola was pretty good before the Spurs trade him. You couldn't posibly think that Glen Davis was going to become the player he is right now, to name one of the cases you mentioned.
Apparently not. Maybe you could incorporate it into this Sunday's sermon to the team. Give em lots of Hallelujah's and Amen's when you pass the plate!!!
scola has not proven he could
good thing rc told him to work on rebounding to
scola is so good
rockets got the 5 seed
enough said
if he was good as spurs fans think
rockets should have got the 3 seed or higher
I didn't use any emoticons, but I thought the sarcasm was obvious
one quarter man
kind of like josh howard
that spur fans overrate
All these "what-ifs"..... Look at the reality, San Antonio has four championships in the past ten years. They did that without Scola... I do not see any rings on Scola's fingers... Whats done is done, I think we have a bright spot with Ian Mahimni if he gets healthy and the Spurs have to continue to build around the Big 3.
Lets just amus the fact if Scola did play with San Antonio... It may have made some of a difference but with no Ginobili I doubt we get past Denver in the second round but then the "what-if" factor comes in.... What would their record have been and what seed would they have been..... There are so many "what-ifs"
We got ousted in the first round, there is nothing to be ashamed of, Dallas' bench just outplayed our bench and it clearly looked like Dallas wanted it more than our Spurs. The Spurs all season lacked a killer instinct. But then again, "what-if" they had a killer instinct, how far would they have gone? Who knows with all these "what-ifs"
Uh, Scola's only been in the league two seasons and the Spurs haven't done jack in those two years. Scola would have been VERY useful but I guess the FO/Pop prefers to have 3 point chuckers like Bonner on the team.
spur fans are making want lakers to win and make scola fisherman
let the birdman kick the lakers out
