Orlando is clearly the better team here. How can the Cavs win a game in Orlando when they can't even hold on to a 23-point lead?

A lotta woulda, coulda, shouldas. The bottom line is you have to know LBJ is deadlier from 5ft behind the 3pt line than he is 5 ft inside the 3pt line. You force anybody BUT him to shoot that basketball.

BTW how many games has ORL lost now at the buzzer? At least 2 right?

Lewis was so far away from Williams on the inbounds pass he was in Joe Dumar's office. Your 6'10 get up on him like Odom did to Carter. Blown game by the Magic good thing for them they are going home.

Can Orlando continue shooting 44% from the 3-point line? That's a lot to ask.
When you're hot you're hot, and they obviously practice a ton from behind the arc. I'm just glad they throw in some drives every once in a while.

To all you saying the Magic played bad defense, are you out of your mind. Turk prevented LBJ from getting an alley-oop, pushed him to a deep 3, and closed on him immediately. That was an amazing shot, simple as that.

This IMO is the key question. The Cavs and their earlier-dominant defense has been completely flummoxed by the Magic's perimeter shooting. Are the Magic simply getting lucky, and if so, what if they start missing? Or, are the Cavs defending the 3 poorly, and if so, how will they adjust?

He didn't close on him quick enough. The guy only had one second to shoot.

I would rather that was a alley-oop that put that game to OT, the winner would be Magic even if the OT came.

A lob would at worst have tied them but Lewis should have pressured the inbounder more. My question know is if Orlando fails to sweep the next 2 games can they win another in Cleveland?

I think so. The Cavs can't blow past the Magic to this point, as hard as they may try....that hasn't been their game for most of the season, including the playoffs.

son here is your answer to that ...

You have got to be the whinyest sour grape on the forum. If you really think the league is rigged, as you must because every other post you make says so, then you are either the biggest sheep in the land or the most ignorant fan in ages. Just absolutely completely pathetic.

I am sorry but this is just crazy, you rather let him have a crazy 3pt shot, with a probability of 10% at best than a lob with a probability of over 90%. You do that every single time! It was a crazy shot, for the ages as Budkin says, nothing to do on that.

Grab LeBron's arm a bit so he can't push off, but you've got to close on that shot and hopefully swipe at it going by. Pietrus should've been on him.

    Royally. Terrible decision.
Exactly I was wondering why Hedo was on Lebron, but I couldn't ask that while I was trying to watch that last possession.

Why would you not put your best defender on him?

This game can be that simple. You want your best player taking the last shot and you want your best defender defending that last play.

And as for the other question, as long as the Cavs keep playing two bigs than the Magic will knock down the 3pt shots. They are all amazing shooters, especially Turk and Lewis.

It's the same question the Lakers will have to face if they play the Magic in the Finals. Do you play with two bigs and constantly allow 3pt shots, or do you have any possible chance of controlling Howard with only one big? It's a big dilema for any team, which is why the Magic right now are probably the favourites to win.

Yes I still take the lob at worst you play on 5 minutes more. You don't think the Cavs run that play in practice? And to add insult to injury Hedo's closeout was late.

Only mistake the Magic made on the play was Lewis giving space to Williams on the inbounds. He should have contested the inbounds. He was playing as if he didnt want williams to get the pass back as the inbounder often does, but with one second left.... that wasn't going to happen.

The Magic have completely dominated the Cavs on their home floor this season.

If the refs call it fairly they will win Game 3 handily.

Exactly. Give LeBron credit for making the shot, but he was given the green light to do so, and I'm not talking about by his coach either.
