hahaha if LA wins a le i cant wait to hear the excuses.."they only won because of Gasol" etc etc..If lebron loses it'll be "He doesnt have enough help"..they won 66 games i dont wanna hear sheeeeeeeeeet if they lose saturday
Lebron had subway yesterday..Kobe had In-n-Out..Lebron is healthier then Kobe hahaha
Funny you call me a when half your threads are about buttsex.
Please, you Laker fans cried about Kobe's supporting cast for years, including last season when you had the deepest team in the league.![]()
Kobe in elimination games since becoming option #1 in LA:
Lebron did great today...i dont see why kobe has to be mentioned. Kobe's team is the one up in the series.
I think timvp posted Kobe's elimination game stats in another thread.
Edit: no, I guess it was bb, and he beat me to it.
Odom had 22 points, 13 rebounds, and 5.7 assists on 49% shooting in that 06 series. LeBron wishes he had a teammate like that. All those supposed three point shooters have given LeBron exactly one game of support this series.
You have low personal self-esteem baseline which is why you felt the need to make this thread.
You choose...
Smush Parker or Mo Williams
Kwame Brown or Big Z
Odom or Side show bob
Lakers win one of the 3 talent wise
Kobe and West play same spot and Kobe is a lot better.
Luke and LBJ play same spot and LBJ is light years better.
SO if you really compare the talent... this years Cav's are far superior to the Lakers then.
Difference is... then it was all about how Kobe is a ball hog. How Kobe doesnt trust his teamates so how could they perform if he doesnt. etc
For Lebron, it's he doesn't have the cast to do it. Yet, they finished with the best record in the league and the #1 seed. Kobe's team then finished with the 7th seed and took a contending Suns team to 7 games.
Hate all you want... but to suggest Kobe had a better team then that LBJ does now is ridiculous
Tell Bron to do that in Game 6 in Orlando and then I'll be impressed.
Nah, it's more of getting sick of Laker fans trashing LeBron every time they lose while pretending Kobe isn't playing on a team that's ing loaded.
Smush Parker/Brian Cook/Maurice Evans/Kwame Brown/Chris Mihm...thats a cast?Would Lebron work wonders with the above^^^
LOL. Odom murdered the Suns. Read up a few posts. James doesn't have anyone even close to that backing him up this series, and the rest of his cast has been pulling Smush Parkers for the first four games.
I'm the last person to get on LeBron's case. I think he's doing great.
But to compare his 5 All-Star team to the Smush Parker & Kwame Brown Lakers is ridiculous.
It's on LeBron to keep his team running and NOT playing like Smush Parker...that's on him as a leader.
If he can get his team to 66 wins but can't stop them from choking in the Playoffs, there's no excuse other than LeBron isn't ready to get his team to a Championship.
In all of NBA history, there's like 10 teams that have ever won 66 games, that is a good team...just not good enough. Lots of people had the Cavs as favorites to win the Ring after their 1st and 2nd round sweeps.
a triple double with 37 points in an elimination game is pretty damn impressive. too bad lebron isn't getting to the finals with a cast of mo williams and friends.
since garnett went down, everyone knew this season was the lakers to take. even moderate resistance was taken away when ginobili, mcgrady, yao, and nelson went down. all the hype around cavs and lakers final fail to reveal that the lakers are far more talented than the cavs. that's why james is MVP, he did more with less. sadly for him, the playoffs contain more intensity where he needs a legitimate all star next to him.
I don't disagree about this year, it's the Smush/Kwame years I disagree about. That was a D-league team back then and far less talented than the Cavaliers of the last 5 years.
This year's Cavs are legit contenders, they just ran into the worst possible matchup in the NBA.
What does one have to do with the other?
People aren't trashing Lebron because they dislike Lebron. It's more because of the media and the NBA for creating a hype around him that is not justified. Glorifying his accomplishments when his team is actually down 3-2 in a series and on the brink of elimination.
I don't think you'll find many rational fans who believe Kobe is a better player than LBJ at this point in their respective careers.
He probably will...but the Cavs will still lose...1 against 5.
As great as the stats that Lebron puts up, it almost feels ugly and unnatural to watch him hold the ball for 20 seconds and go 1 vs. 5 for an entire quarter. Almost like the spirit of the game and the team play that should be happening is being violated. Just my thoughts.
Baseline don't even bother wasting your time.
It was working though and thats why I have no idea why Orlando didn't double at the top and make him give up the ball. I mean that's just common sense IMO. Make ANYBODY ELSE but Lebron create something but Orlando just let him stand at the top with one on one coverage the entire quarter and looke what happened.
