Great thread and I agree. kobe's ego would not allow it. I bet Kobe would rather average 40 points a game and lose the series than watch Pau Gasol win a Finals MVP!!!

What is more impressive in your opinion...winning 3 with Kobe and winning all 3 MVP's, and then winning a fourth w/ Wade and not getting MVP, as in Shaqs case.

Kobe's 3 les and winning his championship 4th w/out Shaq AND getting his first finals MVP.

It won't happen. If after a few games people are talking about Gasol as MVP, he would start taking 40 shots a game to make up for it.
You know that's a dangerous face because it means he's got his rapist swagger (that was a joke LA fans don't get mad).
I was playing in the NBA Finals with my 14 year old cousin and after I won Finals MVP, he refused to shake my hand and refused to talk to reporters, and he cried rolling out in a wheel chair, and then he said no one is the Finals MVP because everybody is great in their own way.
