Thanks well, usually A-Train is in here ing at me to update it, if i let it sit for a few days..

I say we dont count NON picks but it goes against your total which I think everyone here will make it for the most part. LOL yeah someone has to keep on your ass to update hahahaha.

I will vote for whatever the majority wants.

My only opinion is, while it is 100 pick min, if the % comes down to just a few key losses, it's like well did you shy away from some hard fights to pick? There will always be hard fights to pick.. Seems pretty simple, pick 5 fights..

My only opinion is, while it is 100 pick min, if the % comes down to just a few key losses, it's like well did you shy away from some hard fights to pick? There will always be hard fights to pick.. Seems pretty simple, pick 5 fights..

But then if they don't pick the top five, how are they penalized for that? Do we count their non-picks as losses (ha ha)? Should we discount their picks completely for that card if they don't adhere to the "top five" rule?

I think the best thing, is just say "Here is the card, 5 fights, pick em" Should not really come up where you are not picking the hardest fight on purpose because you don't want to mess with your %.. Not saying you would do that but why even make it an option?

Hmmm... are you saying a total of 5, to include the undercard fights? If so, that's a good way to do it. Give everybody a minimum of 5 from the entire card, not just the televised portion.

Good thinking, db. I hate to pick certain fights just because I don't know much about one of the fighters ( I knew practically nothing about Professor X going into this), not because I don't want to lower my percentage .



Edit: Don't misunderstand me, though. I hate losing. I will do everything I can to push my percentage up as high as I can, because I'd rather not play than risk losing

That's cool with me. Actually adds a new element to it. "Pick any 5 on the card at all, pre-lims or main event but it has to be 5. I like that..

I am still baffled as to why anyone would not pick a fight, i mean i don't get it.. Just decide.. And yes we should just do a pick 5 system that includes the undercard's but lets not stray away from tough fights to pick in favor of easy ones. For example UFC 100, Brock/Mir, GSP/Alves, Hendo/Bisping, we all should be picking winners there..
