I hope you weren't serious about that tyler perry garbage or you can't rofl at anything.
Any Given Sunday
even tho Al Pacino was one of the worst actors in it.
no his movies are , but i was somewhat serious when calling him a genius, in that he went from being broke as , to rich and famous as with a few movies and tv shows, all basically off the same script.
- big black family gets together as a big happy family
- happiness turns into stupid arguments and fights
- someone is cheating on someone
- the one who got cheated on gets their revenge
- everyone makes up and is back to being one big happy family
and it sells because people "can relate to it" and Perry knew that. great. a job well done. but after reusing the same basic script about 10 times, you would think people would have gotten tired of it, but somehow it still sells... like the wayans bros and their 150 different "(insert word here) movies".

Here's one opinion:
Best movies between 2000 - 2009
http://www.listal.com/list/best-movies-between-20001. The Pianist (2002)
2. Lost in Translation (2003)
3. There Will Be Blood (2007)
4. Munich (2005)
5. Sin City (2005)
6. No Man's Land (2001)
7. Road to Perdition (2002)
8. Raid (2003)
9. The Man Without a Past (2002)
10. Kill Bill: Vol. 2 (2004)
Both great movies, Proposition is fraking amazing.
American History X, Fight Club, Adaptation, Old Boy gets listed again, Assassination Of Jesse James, Royal Tennenbaums, Spirited Away, Children Of Men, Munich, The Big Lebowski, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Jacket, Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Pans Labyrinth, Letters From Iwo Jima, and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada would be some of my favorites that haven't been listed.
The Pianist and Road to Perdition are great. I love those films.

i just looked at some lists online and it really was
harry potter 2
harry potter 3
lord of the rings
lord of the rings 3
harry potter
lord of the rings 2
harry potter 4
Munich was crap; even moreso than the rest of that list.
Actually the wayans only made Scary movie 1 and 2. Hollywood saw easy money and other people made (insert word here) movies. And dance flick was made by the wayans' nephews.
And Tyler Perry is a product of Oprah. He's a ing hack who doesn't screen his movies for critics, because he "doesn't make it for them." That's the same excuse that hack stephanie meyer uses when she "writes for herself" That's your standard "we suck" excuse
and he had no ing business being on star trek
I'd go, in no particular order:
Hotel Rwanda
City of God
No Country for Old Men
There Will Be Blood
Wall-E
Team America World Police
Fight Club
Children of Men
Primer
28 Days Later
And I'd probably give you a different list if I tried to make one tomorrow.
I doubt you'll find it on any DVD in the US anytime soon...
I suggest that you download the movie ..
Personally.. I saw it before that piece of Quarantine came out, and I believe I made a thread about it.. or two and I loved it.
Can't forget

I think just about every movie mentioned so far in this thread sucks.
How isnt Training Day mentioned? That was the best performance Denzel Washington ever made in a film. That character of Alonzo Harris was something else.
One of my all time favorites![]()
and

And the greatest chick flick ever!!
