From that interview it looks like the Spurs are gonna be using the MLE on a big, and they're not bringing back Bruce .

Pop specifically said it allows them to use the Mid-Level on a "4". That's slightly different than saying a "Big" because that may exclude true "5" men such as Rasho. It also means Tim may jump center again unless Ian can start.

Jefferson's D >= Bowen's D when both started on the spurs.

Pop's genius, along with RJ's effort, will make him the spurs next defensive icon. I don't know about getting to 05-07 Bowen level, but we'll see.
