ok...I can understand that...but we're more lack of bigs...wouldn't we be smarter to go after that position?
not many quality bigs in this draft. lot of better prospects at the SF

Yeah, I don't think there's any bigs at this point that are worth trading for. If the Spurs are going to do something they're probably going to acquire a player for picks.

I think everyone just fixates on the chess game with Portland.
    ok...thank you..it was driving me crazy..lol..

I'd be a lot happier with smallball with RJ and Casspi than with Finley and Horry.

The Spurs have a better chance at landing the big man help they need via free agency. There isn't anyone worth trading up for in this draft.

Spurs have wanted him for a few years. He's big, tough and could be the defender R.C. said they want.

He does make less sense due to the RJ trade but I think the Spurs have coveted him for too long to cool off now.
ok...cool...sounds like a good pick..and I guess there aren't many good bigs in this draft either, now that I'm looking at what's left...

Young is a nice fit for NO. They need the wing depth.

He is not ready to play.
He may not be a finished product but he could certainly get minutes off the bench.
