Blair is our guy. That pick came in too fast to be a traded pick.

barkley didnt play defense....he even admits it...MORON
Barkley says that to be self-deprecating. Any Spurs fan that watched Barkley defend David in the post wouldn't say something so ignorant.

I absolutely LOVE the Blair pick. A tenacious rebounder who will likely play with a chip on his shoulder. He doesn't have to start to make a difference; if he can play a role here that's similar to what a guy like Landry gives the Rockets or Leon Powe gives the Celtics when healthy (or what Malik Rose once brought to the Spurs) -- something along those lines -- the Spurs are immediately better by virtue of that pick.

Better not ing trade this guy.

Trade? Nobody wanted him before 37...and most teams had a shot. I'm sure hes all ours.

Green, Heyvelt would be no brainers with the later picks.

His prowess on the offensive boards has me very excited. Rebounds, and offensive rebounds, have been a spurs weakness for quite a while.

Meh. If it wasn't detroit it would have been someone else. Hoping for those guys to fall to 51 is a bit much.

barkley played D. He is also 6'4". I'll refer you to his sixer days. BTW Barkley says all kinds of crazy things. He was never a defensive liability until the end of his career. Touche' on the insults

If Blair could be anything like Davis, Milsap, or Bass then the Spurs have the steal of the draft. Especially since they didn't have to pay or trade up for him.
