I like the Spurs picks so far
Didn't McClinton win the NCAA 3 pt contest?
I like the Spurs picks so far
Maybe we get Mills now.
not impressed
Mclinton= Nate Robinson
If he has the right at ude, could develop into a solid 3rd point.
It'll be interesting to see who the Spurs go with here.
I'm pretty sure he did..
talk to me about Mclinton
nothing. McClinton won't be a SG in the NBA.
he's more of a shooting PG. he's onlt 6 ft tall
McClinton was rumored to go as high as the end of the first. Spurs needed shooters. Pop likes point guards who like to shoot often.
Like the pick![]()
instant offense type guy, DX says he is one of the most efficient shooters
Is one of a shooter.
The Spurs still have their choice at 53. Holy .
Similarities: Salim Stoudemire
# Big time 3-point shooter
# Deep range on his jumper
# Good midrange game
# Good motor
Negatives:
# Undersized for his position
# A little one-dimensional
# Doesn't attack the basket
# Not athletic enough to finish at the rim
Summary: June 2 Update: In the lane-agility test, McClinton had the best score, finishing the drill in 10.44 seconds. See the full combine story
June 1 Update: Finally, Miami's Jack McClinton wants a do-over in the measurements. He measured under 6 feet in socks and just a little under 6-1 in shoes, which were essentially the same measurements as Syracuse's Jonny Flynn. However, McClinton insisted to me that he's an inch taller than Flynn. I think he's right. He went up to Flynn, they stood back-to-back and McClinton definitely looked taller. Either McClinton hunched in the measurement or Flynn stood on his tippy-toes. See the full Chad Ford notebook
Jan 2 Update: McClinton is having a terrific season, improving on his numbers across the board. But his lack of size, elite athleticism or off the dribble game pigeon hole him as an undersized shooter. Think Salim Stoudemire.
I'd be happy with that or Heyvelt.
McC is NO PG. He's an Eddie House style scoring small guard.
hes more of a sg hill will be fine
Or he takes the JV role. The backup's backup. Also double up as the backup's backup at the 2.
He's a very good shooter. I can see him coming off a lot of screens for some open shots.
AAAAND the Spurs pick will be during commercial..lol
great its a commerical gonna miss the last pick
