I think the concern with Gooden is that his best role is off the bench but the Spurs seem to have big men to come off the bench already. They need someone to play alongside Tim- unless they are planning to start Ian.
I haven't heard any reports about Gooden, what his intentions are, or whether he wants to re-sign or not. I'm sure this last week had him reassessing his situation. And, we all now he has a very aggressive agent in Feagan. Has anyone heard anything about his desires to stay or go?

We need somebody to help Tim defend the paint. Gooden doesn't fill those shoes. Pass.
