I just want to say, so many people who over time here -- for Alaska -- families, everyone who has reached out, because it really has been a whirlwind to think that I --thank you.

Because with all that has been going on since the election Alaska, the America, what for my family -- and Todd has been so supportive -- again, thank you -- Alaska is in good hands.

But really the time has come, from the time John McCain and I -- when I stood up there, so many American people and a great country it is, to meet all of you and them -- but sometimes you just think, and I come to a point where I realize these things, that my faith in God, and my family, which is so important to me, and to everyone.

It comes to me to be that the best thing now for me -- and for all Alaskans -- really, the best thing going forward, and I just want to be wisdom here -- not for myself, but just in the best interests of Alaska and the American people and my family -- for they've gone through so much, what with the media -- and I've learned a lot of things here about how the media deals -- but some of them at Fox News I want to -- well, really, I could name, but then there's also -- there's a spirit of -- to believe that we all just want what's best for the American people.
