I can't wait to see Ron try and take over games lol. Can he keep himself in check under the LA limelights? You know he's gonna want the spotlight.
I cannot wait for when Kobe tries to do his "coaching" with his "team" and Artest tells him to shut up, or ignores him.
This is a guy who compares himself to Jesus.

It's not the fact that he left that pisses me off, it's the ridiculous man-crush Ron has on Kobe

for those of you getting down on ron artest for leaving the rockets, i don't get it.

He wanted to stay but the best morey would offer was a 1 year deal? And then the lakers offer a 3 year deal and you expect him to stay? There's only 4 teams with capspace to offer him more than the lakers and rockets and none of them expressed any interest in ron.

The nba is a business; players gotta look after their own. I can't get pissed at ariza for wanting more money and it's hard to blame ron for coming to the lakeshow for more money.

    Man... I'm gonna miss him.

But the thing is, he wanted a long term deal. He's obviously tired of having all of these quick and safe for the team 1 year deals. We did offer him more money at a yearly rate, but he wanted a long term deal and that's what he got from the Lakers.

I think Artest and Kobe are gonna have to do something about their shot attempts. Unless Artests massive respect for Kobe kicks in and he plays his role, I don't see them being better.

As for Ariza on the Rockets, I think he's a better fit for us. I'm sure he'll be with us for a while and he'll give good support to the team and be an exciting player.
