I used to think so until his awkward state of the union response, but most people probably forgot about that.
Some Louisiana folks say we haven't seen the *real* Bobby Jindal yet.

He needs do drop the public television children's show diction and put on a few pounds.
So was JFK until the cortisone shots.
That used to be true of Mr Obama.
What weight is Obama up to these days?
He had cortisone shots?
Were there physical stats for inauguration day?
No, that he was skinny.
Not that he smokes or did a few lines back in the day? Though one would hope that would have helped him to consider the folly in prohibition, be it tobacco or other...
Not Jindal skinny.
Something just seems fishy about such a short-notice press conference to announce her resignation.
And I have never heard ANY jokes making fun of her son.
She was extremely hyper!
Damn so she lost your vote now too?
!
Palin said it had been in the works for months, but maybe she was just saving face.
I wondered at first if there wasn't something as yet undisclosed behind it all.
Have you heard anything about the background of the decision?
I heard that the decision not to run had been in the works for weeks if not months, but the resignation part was very recent.
The AP story said that the press conference was called so hastily that only a few reporters got in, and any who were late were held back by security from entering.
*Pass the ball for victory!*
You betcha!
Right. I can't wait until every 20 year old with an internets connection is dropping curry, 'outsourcing the presidency', and 7-11 jokes on Facebook. As a conservative and of Indian extraction, he'll be subject to the same basic boorish slander as Palin was during the campaign. Of course, he'll be a heretic to the great multicultural denomination of the left wing political church, just as Palin was to the great feminist denomination. Do not ally yourself with the political party through which the great white male protestant satan rules the land and expect to go unpunished.
Then we'll also have the 'serious' discussion about whether or not Jindal is a member of a true ethnic minority, since Indian-Americans have proven, as have Asian-Americans, that all that bull about non-whites being unable to succeed in these United States without the enlightened and benevolent left wing political hand in the 21st century is just that.
Friday Evening News Dropping tradition continues lulz
haha yes, good times. +1 +1 +1Then we'll also have the 'serious' discussion about whether or not Jindal is a member of a true ethnic minority, since Indian-Americans have proven, as have Asian-Americans, that all that bull about non-whites being unable to succeed in these United States without the enlightened and benevolent left wing political hand in the 21st century is just that.
I'm probably gonna be wrong... but I'm going out on a limb and say she's gonna change her mind.
About stepping down?
Yeah. I don't know why.
but it's saying on MSNBC that sources are saying she might be out of politics for good.
If that's the case then I respect her decision. Saying that she's out because of her family and then turning around a year and a half later and running for president is pretty de able... but saying your out for your family and staying out is admirable.
Whereas I think this would be a commonplace. We all have the right to change our minds for any reason or no reason at all. it wouldn't bother me.If that's the case then I respect her decision. I thought you were suggesting she would return as governor of Alaska. Sorry.
