That would be a good trade.
"The Jazz, it's been learned and confirmed, engaged in recent trade talk with the Houston Rockets about a possible deal that would have brought seven-time NBA All-Star swingman Tracy McGrady to Utah for small forward Andrei Kirilenko."

Damn, desperate to get rid of Mcgrady
WTF?!?!
Shoot me before Kirilnko ever becomes a rocket
I wonder if Kirilenko's wife is still letting him get that strange wool once a year?
Why would Houston do this? Are they so desperate to get rid of TMac that they would eat almost 18 million in 2010?
This is usually the first thing I think of when someone mentions AK47. That and the Road Runner.
Sneakin' it is one thing, but, to have the wife grant permish. Lordy, you can take yer time and peruse every avenue before you settle on it. Kinda of makes me nervous just talking about it outloud like this.
lol Kirilenko and the Rockets...
Well AK would fit into Adelman's offense better than that pick and roll offense of Sloan's. We can bring his Euro flopping arse here and trade T-Mac to them. We'd need a 5 million player from Utah to make the salaries match. Or...just keep T-Mac and let his contract expire. Which is fine in my book since we are gonna suck this year anyways.
Oh please shut up. I don't want that piece of crap anywhere near our team. Didn't you see how worthless he was last season?
I must agree. As much as I hate Tracie, that sissy would sicken me even more.
The only possible reason why I could see this happening is if Morey wanted to keep a trade piece way above the cap. If McGrady expires we will still have a tough time offering a player a max contract to someone due to how far we are over the cap. We really can only replace our stars by trading for them, not signing them as FA unless we want to renounce other major pieces.
