The issue I have had with Palin from the beginning has been that she could dish it out, but she could not take it. People for some reason liked her speech at the convention but I found her to be petty and sarcastic. For her to cry victim when she spent the campaign slinging mud at Obama and playing to the worst in people is hypocritical at best and pathetic at worst.
I don't remember her taking a single shot at Obama's kids during any speech.

Palin can dish it out, but she can't take it.
Maybe she's not ready for primetime. She couldn't even finish her term as governor in Alaska, and her (verbal) self-presentation is still a mess.
Palin has a slender grasp of policy, a thin skin and doesn't think too well on her feet. Policy maybe she can learn well enough in a couple of years. The latter two problems, I doubt she can ever master.

Or to put it another way, every single time you call her a "dumb " which I am almost certain you have called her at some point, you are a using a gender derogatory slur. Simply replace it with a racial slur and direct it at Obama and you have the racial equivalent, just a more acceptable one when directed at a woman.

I suspect more and more her brain is wired the same way she expresses herself. She can't finish a sentence before steering somewhere else.
