Then they should change their name.
If he won't make a commitment with the offer within 24-48 hours, then you make a run after who's left - none of which are as good, but one of whom will have to do - e.g. Big Baby, Bass if available , ...
If he won't make a commitment within that time period, he is just unlikely to sign. It's not money, he just isn't capable of moving and accepting a great offer from the Spurs. You realize that he will never, ever in a million years sign (if he can't make a commitment within 24-48 hours) with you, write him off as having a freak phobia of winning a championship and move on.![]()
Then they should change their name.
Bruno was right. Props to him.
Damn, this helps the Spurs.
If you make $5 mil per any place is alright. And during the season I'm not sure if your home city is that important. In the offseason you can live anywhere.
Sure has some great looking women there for sure.
you know what will be ironic? if detroit clears enough room to offer mcdyess a similar contract. guess what would have contributed to that? that's right, oberto's unguaranteed contract they got from the bucks.
Come on Dice. We need and want you here. Let's do this already.
Gosh, I'll be happy when this part is decided.
And I believe you also have city and state income taxes, no?
Unless someone swoops in at the last minute with a crazy offer, Spurs would seem to be in a good spot.
Who are the Spurs courting who went to UVA? McDyess went to the same school as Robert Horry.
Props to Pistons < Spurs for dropping the info and the corrected info![]()
I think at most that would create an extra $1.5 mil.
I give the odds at about ten percent, at best. Perhaps I'm overly generous in expecting him to reach a rational decision. And I don't think reason or logic has a place in his equation. He's already chosen to stay in Detroit. He wants his great, great, great grandkids to live in Detroit, clearly the best city on Earth.
Damn!

What part?
It would be a waste though since even Dumars said that the won't contend this year. What's the point??
OK, I feel much better![]()
And people who like to eat.
Alabama ? - My bad.
I thought that he went to UVA .
Yeah, the Spurs have gotten lucky with regards to McDyess. I think he was more apt to stay if AJ got hired (or any veteran coach). That had to help, even if just slightly.
And now the salary cap coming in low helps even more.![]()
Isn't the correct question: what exit?
eh? He lives in Htown. In the friggin' summer.
