Backup - they are hoping GHill. If he doesn't show something in this summer league, they'll probably go pick up a vet.

I don't know for sure. I guess it will depend on what other moves they make. I think the Spurs have one more trade in them before summer is over. But I don't think they are overly concerned with another PG.. unless Hill just sucks this summer.

You don't usually carry a 3rd PG and try and get him minutes in the rotation (although, the Hornets did that with Chris Paul, Bobby Jackson and Jannero Pargo a few years back). The 3rd PG is injury insurance. Pure and simple.
