Sounds like the Suns should have traded Amar'e to the Warriors and tried to get Curry or Randolph (preferably Randolph). That plus the parts to match contracts was the best the Suns will do. They have to trade him now or during the year or else they've lost him for nothing

sick deal for the nuggets. kmart and nene are great utility players, but you cant dump it to either one and say "get me points" and expect them to make it more than 50% off the time off more than 15 attempts. amare gives them that

kmart and kleiza will eventually get waived for cash or draft picks if that deal actually happens

Idk, what type of post game does Amar'e have. I honestly haven't seen him that often but i don't remember seeing a post move from him last year in the playoffs. Plus Amar'e probably has the skills to play defense and rebound but he has never shown the inclination.

If this trade goes through it makes the Nuggets a slightly to much better offensive team and slightly to amazing worse on defense and rebounding. It could work, but it would be the biggest gamble in the offseason. I question why the Nuggets needed this because if JR smith didn't completely disappear after being amazing in earlier rounds and they could make a damn inbounds pass, they had would have pushed the Lakers to 7 and possibly win.

Amare has had the reverse Ben Wallace effect. He went from being slightly over rated to completely and utterly under rated. You dont trade a talent like that simply for the purpose of shedding salary, and a role player, unless its to the Lakers.

I dont care how bad he is defensively.

Only way it would be fair is if you switch K-mart w/ Nene.

... if ever a player and coach were cut from the same cloth, its Amare and George Karl.
