Of those four, I like Brayden but I'd have to really hear them with the middle/last names to form a good opinion. Plus, I think the first name should go well with (not alliterate though) your other child's name.

Congrats to you and your family.

I prefer the more traditional names myself: Kenneth, Mark, David, etc. But of the 4 you have I like Brayden; that's probably because my son has a good friend named Brayden who's a nice kid with a very nice family.

Speaking of alliterate: Our oldest son was always going to be Kenneth, for my husband's best friend. Our first daughter was Monica; we lost her as an infant. So when I was pregnant again with a girl, we decided on a name I thought we both liked. She was born after an emergency c-section for which I was under general anesthesia and didn't wake up for several hours. When I woke my husband said, "Uh I named her Keilie (kee-lee)". Fine with me although it wasn't what we had decided upon, but he said he had seen it in one of the baby books and it had always stuck with him. No problem. But then next pregnancy was another boy. I wanted "David", but my developmental psychologist friend advised that if the other 2 start with K's the last one might feel "left out" or "different". So we became one of those y families whose kids' names all start with K So of course the first thing I did was go out and buy a minivan just to seal the deal

You should wait until you see your son for the first time then come up with a name.

My cousin named all her boys with Z names. Zack, Zayne and Zander. She recently got pregnant hoping to have a girl but boy #4, Zayden, will be here in December.

Nice responses. These are just names that we are thinking about. Nothing set in stone. We have till sometime in Sept. to come up with one.

I wanted to hear opinions from the many different walks of life on here.

As for the comment let by Cubansucks...Keenan is an Irish name.

The middle name is probably going to be Otto, my wife's grandfather. So, like I said, just floating some names around. I was thinking Keenan Otto, but we'll see.

That's how it is for my cousin. All 4 of her kids start with J. Our daughter is Kaylee. So, that's where 2 of the K names started.

You NEVER tell anyone what you are thinking about naming your baby.
This. As you can see, people can be rude about it. Some girl I worked with when I was pregnant with my second baby told me to my face "That's silly" when I told her his name, and I would hardly consider his name silly. But she was nearly illiterate so maybe she didn't like multisyllabic names.

Well my cousin, Syl, and a co worker of hers were pregnant at the same time. They discussed names because the other lady had no clue what to name her baby, and she told her they were going to name the baby Ashley. Well the coworker was due a few months earlier, had her baby and named her Ashley! But her baby died shortly after. So when my cousin delivered she still named her baby Ashley---and the coworker threw a huge tantrum, declared Syl a cruel, heartless and never spoke to her again!

    That's terribly sad.

My best friend and her sister are probably going to both end up with girls named Alexandria. They each claim they thought of it first. It's where they were born. I'm pretty sure my friend thought of it first, because she's been talking about it since high school, but her sister says it was her idea. My friend's not budging. She doesn't care what her sister names her kids, she's sticking with Alexandria.

Oh, and one more name story. When we were pregnant, and again when RG's sister was pregnant, RG's dad really wanted us to use the name "Wayne" because it was his dad's name. Yeah, neither of us used it, but his little brother caved and named his kid Hupp Wayne. So Jim called him and said, "I can't believe you named your kid Hupp Wayne!" John said, "Don't start. I know Hupp's a weird name, but we like it..." RG said, "I think Hupp's a cool name. I'm concerned with a middle name like "Wayne" he'll grow up to be a serial killer."

brayden but then again you would never want to let your child know one day that his name was decided by a bunch of drunk college kids, lakers trolls and basement dwellers.
