I'd like to know how trying to dunk by crounching down almost sitting on the floor everytime you touch the ball consists of a good basketball IQ.
and un putting them.
I'd like to know how trying to dunk by crounching down almost sitting on the floor everytime you touch the ball consists of a good basketball IQ.
Because they were bull leg injuries.
You'll understand three games into the season. We'll be here waiting and when you post a thread displaying your distaste we'll say: Told ya.
Is this the new way of saying _allas Mavericks? Not as catchy.![]()
You're the one who brought up asshole fingering and butt plugs.
Well I have revealed now your true nature, a babbling idiot, not a difficult task. A little more proof than I needed though.
Just admit that Cuban is horrible, from a financial perspective, at running/owning a franchise. I'll admit that he is a pretty good owner to players, especially those willing to work for double what they are worth. Deal?
Yeah because when I watch Brandon Bass play sometimes I think Larry Bird layed in the sun too long.
It's well-established that the Spurs tanked, and that they did not do everything they could to win games late in the year. Robinson breaking his foot or whatever it was that caused him to miss 60 games is not tanking, but don't tell me Pop was trying to win games in March and April. I don't blame them, I would've done the exact same thing in a year in which Tim Duncan was the prize. The fact remains is that getting Duncan was a fluke of good fortune.
It's true that you have Tim Duncan to thank for your 4 championships, not the Spurs status as a "superior franchise."No WTF ever, it's true.
Bull leg injuries?
Yeah, NBA players get season ending surgeries for bull knee injuries and David was out because of his back and foot.
Where does "leg" even enter into the equation?
The Spurs were so intent on tanking, they signed Wilkins the summer before the season started.![]()
Because the Mavs were so awesome and on a great run when he bought the team, and it's been nothing but downhill ever since?![]()
What was the medical diagnosis for Robinson's "season ending" injury?
Yeah, because players are either terrible or legends there's no gray in between.![]()
You've gotta be kidding if you're using a 37 YO Wilkins to defend your argument.
Injured back and then broken foot. Maybe he could have played on the broken foot but the Spurs were so intent on tanking, they had him just suck it up and miss games.![]()
kinda like Drew Gooden.
This is about basketball IQ. Something of which Brandon Bass has none of.
He put up 18 and 6 for the Spurs in 30 minutes a game. He wasn't signed to be the main guy, he was signed to be a role player. But then Elliott and David went down with injuries.
And Gooden as even less than that.
Again, you'll witness it yourself.
I wonder what monosylab1k thinks about this pick up.![]()
Whether the Spurs tanked or not (which I still think they did), the fact remains that they have 4 championships because they received the #1 overall pick in a year that anyone from a newly born baby the an old man with brain cancer would know who the #1 overall pick should be. It didn't take elite front office skills or a "superior organization" to know Duncan was the right pick #1 overall.
overpaid players are existing on every team not only the Mavs. Spurs also used to hold some outrageous contracts like Bruce Bowen and Oberto, not to mention the Jakie Butler one which cost the Spurs LUIS SCOLA to get rid of it. After all, Cuban has never dealt any pick/rights on the only purpose of cutting a bad contract, that's why the Mavs are holding a little bit more bad contracts than Spurs do. I have to concede Spurs have a better GM though, dude turned those bad contracts into Jefferson while Donnie remains dumb except for the Marion trade.
What?
I never said Gooden was terrible. He's a good hustle player and rebounder. He's just a albatross when it comes to the offense.
