Here's a shot looking down from the same area:
The big rock to left of the top waterfall is Liberty Cap (about 7000 feet). To its right is Nevada Falls (5900 feet), and the lower waterfall is Vernal Falls (about 5000 feet I think). The water going over them is the Merced River, and the flow is very high for what I expected this time of year. Vernal is usually MUCH drier in late August.
EDIT: Here's a pic I took from the same area in July 2006 when there was huge water flow.
