it should be a really good game, no sense in arguing whos going to win back and forth
i hate how my friend from UH accuses UT for dodging to play them year by year, as if UT owes it to them to play them
thats as funny as fairweather cougar fan
man believe me, i hope UH gets stomped, but thats only because i want my friend from UH to stfu already
If UT or A&M who also won't schedule Houston anytime soon loses, think about the hotbed of recruits that the Houston metro area is (one of best if not best area). UT nor A&M doesn't want to hurt their Houston area recruiting stronghold by losing in their recruit's backyard.
Props to TT for coming to Houston to show the local HS talent what Tech football is all about.

Yall sounds like very supportive friends.
If I were a UTSA fan or any mid major football fan, I'd root for UH to further put a dent into the sham that is the BCS system.
But if you just want that mofo the STFU then I guess thats alright too.
i dont know if many blue chip recruits would want to move across town to play in conference USA, they dont just have offers from tcu and a&m, these guys have their choice of moving almost anywhere in the country
doesnt really matter to me, i was actually cheering for them to do well until she got up on her soap box trying to 'educate' me on the run&shoot era that i have more knowledge about than her talking about how UT is scared of them![]()
i cheer for UTEP to hopefully sham the BCS system
Good point. More reason UH needs to position themselves for a better conference.
Sounds like a cool chick.
Same logic goes for cheating ass Memphis in college basketball.
UH runs a modified version of Tech's offense that lets Keesum throw deeper and uses more vertical routes. It's the same bull - trying to run 70 plays a game and sprinting to a no huddle. The difference is that Tech runs Leach's spread over a less amount of field than UH does - and the offense is designed to find soft spots.
The Coogs should win and I'd take the moneyline with UH at home. Sumlin isn't going to be at UH long.
so you are saying houston's offensive system and coordinator are better than tech's? i just want to be clear before i make fun of you.
Uhhh...
Isn't Holgerson Tech's former OC? I thought Leach just took that role himself and didn't bother hiring another OC - that was part of the subplot from last year's run. I can't say UH's OC is better than the Captain.
Their QB is better than yours though.
All I can say for sure about this game is that I will be very drunk in the parking lot before kickoff.
even if thats true, potts will still throw for 400 and tech's d, wrs, and rbs are better.
Their QB is better than yours though.
They probably suck s better too doesn't mean they are gonna have a happy ending.
I'm jealous...
Win or lose... it will be good to see UH on TV in San Antonio for the second time. I can't remember the last time I've seen them on TV since graduating from UH and going back home to SA.
i like houston in this game. teams appear to be about equal, but the game is in Houston and tekk isn't the best road team.
Weather reports at the moment are saying there's a chance of thunderstorms on Saturday night. I'd hate to see the elements put a damper on a potential shootout like this.
