It's good to see Kubiak focus on what needs to be improved on and not simply be happy with the win. Slaton and Brown need to get it going for this team to have a chance. No run game means no success in the NFL.
I think our run game hasnt gotten going due to the Defenses we have faced, which both have good front lines. Im sure this weekend will be different.

Brown looked good in pre season but he hasnt really had a chance to run since I think they are trying to get slaton going. er has had the fumble bug too. I read somewhere where Kubes was regretting not getting Cedric Benson. As much as I would have liked to see him here and as good as he is doing its just the def we have been up against. Im sure of it.

Yeah Kubiak is pretty annoyed with Slaton's fumbling. He did say he regrets not getting Benson. I think the lack of run game has a lot to do with Meyers getting beat by almost every DT he has faced. That dude is terrible. It won't be long before Caldwell takes his job.
I think the run game will improve. Slaton will start to turn it around, especially if the offense keeps on clicking like this. We did face two top 5 running defense teams, so that didn't help either. We play a good running D in jags but nothing like what we have seen thusfar.

HOUSTON -- Houston Texans receivers Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones have been fined by the NFL for their roles in a fight during Sunday's 34-31 win over Tennessee.
Johnson was fined $7,500 for unnecessary roughness for taking Tennessee's Cortland Finnegan to the ground by the facemask after the play was over, and Jones was fined $5,000 for entering the fight unnecessarily.
Tennessee's Jason Jones was fined $5,000 for his part in the fight earlier this week. He was ejected from the game after an official said he threw a punch in the altercation on Houston's sideline.
Facemasks happen during the flow of the game. It happens because you are trying to bring a ball carrier down and just grab the son-of-a- .
But when you grab a players facemask AFTER a play, and bring the player down, that is bull , its a pussy move. Its saying you are not man enough to bring me down by yourself. One of these days a players neck will be broken this way, watch and see. Hopefully Johnson learned his lesson.
I lost alot of respect for the Andre Johnson. He WAS just about the only texan that I had respect for.

ans defensive tackle Jason Jones was thrown out of last Sunday's game for his role in a fight against the Texans, but was only fined $5,000.
We learned Friday that Texans wide receivers Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones were fined $7,500 and $5,000 respectively, yet were allowed to continue playing.
Johnson got the larger amount for starting the fracas by pulling ans cornerback Cortland Finnegan to the ground by his facemask after the play was over. (Johnson received an unsportsmanlike penalty at the time.) Jacoby Jones was fined for entering the fight unnecessarily.
Judging by the amount of the fines, Johnson appears to be most at fault, yet he was allowed to stay in the game.
Still, the Texans probably don't mind the fines as a whole. Known as a team that has been pushed around in Nashville over the years.

Finnegan has been starting a lot of crap with receivers lately. In the preseason he tried to go after Roy Williams. I wouldn't be surprised if he started the whole thing.
