Make fun of them all you want, I've never heard a Lion fan say that the Lions intentionally let the other team score.

Sometimes you actually have to let the other team do some damage to have a chance.

A few years back Belichick called for a hike out of the end zone for a safety on a punt to get better field position for his defense to try and force a 3 and out. Defense holds and Pats get the ball back and win the game.

You know, sometimes it takes guts to make that kind of call.

Having said that, I NEVER said that the defense let him score. What I said was that the irony of it all was that the the correct call would have been to let the receiver score the TD once the ball was caught.

But back to the real problem, I'm watching the Cowboys game and I'm watching a team that is not executing, undisciplined and just playing below their potential. All of that comes down to coaching.
