The fact your team knows how to use ticket sales to improve the roster WAY better than mine does doesn't mean you know any more about winning an NBA championship than I do.

I never implied that I do. I could argue my basketball experience might but I wouldn't even do that cause I could care less. My argument here all along is that fans support their team and community and it human nature to refer to them as we. Nothing more.

We do know more about celebrating though!

Everyone loves a winner. You claim you've won state les in high school, is this right? If this is true, then you know damn well if you play on the football and basketball team, you are superior to the other students in your school. The teachers treat you different, the bus drivers, and the school nurse. If you were good, then students, teachers, parents, and coaches from the other schools treated you superior as well. Parents of other players wish you were their kid. So, in a sense, we are superior not only because we've won, but we've kicked your ass along the way.
