You could tell they just weren't really a national threat this year.
Not a big deal, we weren't going to the championship game anyway. We can be Capitol one bowl champs now instead of whatever other bowl nobody cares about....this is what college football has turned into to me. Unless we are undefeated I don't give a . The rose bowl may as well just be the papa johns bowl cus non of them mean anything
Pryor looks like too. Looks skiddish and can't pass. He may want to consider being a WR next year
Yeah...you guys need to John Chiles his ass.
BCS Bowl games at least mean a huge payday (unless your conference distributes the money socialist style).
Pryor might play like a Heisman Trophy candidate in Michigan's offense.
If he can take the pounding, I'd convert him to a running back before I would a wide receiver.
There is no might about it to me. He definitely would be. I blame Tressel and his B.S. offense before I blame T.P. The fact is that he was one of the most highly rated recruits coming out of H.S. in years and he hasn't improved one bit since he came to OSU. His talents aren't utilized at all and he hasn't been developed at all. If at Pat White could do that much damage in Rods offense I can't even imagine what Pryor would do.
I don't blame Tressel, yeah his offense is conservative but Pryor new what he was coming to when he picked Ohio State. He picked tOSU because he wanted to be a passer. If he wanted to be a runner he would have gone to Michigan. You can't really blame him. I'm sure when he came out of high school he thought he could work hard and turn into Troy Smith who was a runner and was converted into a passer. If he turned into that at 6'6 he would be a first round pick. If he chose Michigan he knew he would always be stuck with the label of a system QB, just like Tebow is right now.
So I don't really blame him, he thought he could do it, but so far he can't. He looks scared to run, and even more scared to pass. His passes look awful when he does throw. But maybe a light will turn on or something and he can turn it around, he is only a sop re. But I think you guys are missing why he didn't go to Michigan and why he is at Ohio State. If he wanted to be a scrambler in the spread I'm sure he would have picked Michigan or Florida.
it's not like tressel can't coach him up. i'm sure this season will light a fire up both of their asses. i can't imagine the natives are happy with these performances. is tressel on firing watch? how much leeway does he have up there dan?
The fans are calling for his head, but he won't be fired. Besides, they are stupid, Tressel can only do so much. The oline is horrible and has been for a couple years. His play calling might be conservative but with that line you can't do too much. He won't be fired
