I'm seeing a lot of "lol Cels" threads in the NBA forum.![]()
ESPN screwed up when commentating on the result of Celtics VS Suns. 2 time MVP Steve Kerr. Funny .
I'm seeing a lot of "lol Cels" threads in the NBA forum.![]()
chris paul 21 points 18 assists and yet they are down 20 vs. raptors Thats pathetic
wow, that sucks
I'll actually be surprised if we win tonight. I think we'll gel down the road though.
Did anyone see the Chris Rock interview?
Chris Rock: If I were Cleveland management, I would trade LeBron for Chris Paul + two 1st round draft picks. No sense to lose him for nothing.
but they have tons of PGs already![]()
"i am a winner. I have always been a winner." lawl
I heard that. That was stupid on James part.
Now every team has at least one loss. Come on Spurs.
Shocking. Pop finally got Finley's out of his mouth.
Apparently Keith Bogans is starting
Must be weird for P.J. Carlesimo to go from lead assistant to color commentator.
Okay, I've suggested this before, but I'm bored and want to see if anyone thinks there's any chance.
Nets' current assumed goals:
1. Get the first pick in the 2010 draft, or close to it.
2. As part of the pitch to James, demonstrate how they'll be able to surround him with top-level players.
3. Keep payroll as low as possible in the near future to accomplish (2).
If Splitter=Lopez (more or less), offer Splitter + Finley, 1st or 2nd rounder for Lopez.
They'll accomplish (1) without even having to try much. They'll accomplish (3) by bringing in Splitter on a contract that will be cheap for a few years into James's stay, as opposed to Lopez, who they'd have to pay 1 year after acquiring James. This fact will help them with (2), in that they'll be able to surround him with other expensive players. Also, the high draft pick will help with (2). Is this not logical? How unrealistic is it (impossible, extremely unlikely, etc)?
Im going to die when i see Bonner guarding Oden
Bogans starting probably isn't great news for RJ. He lasted all of four games as the perimeter stopper.
wow, i can live with that ONLY because it shows that its DEFENSE FIRST, not Offense.
Now is bonner still starting?
I actually like Bogans starting. Defense should improve and his offense will have the best chance of succeeding if he is playing with RJ, Tim and TP. Like having Bruce out there. Hit some threes and play some d.
Dude, Lopez would be in bomb.
HALLE-FREAKIN'-LUJAH!
Bogans to start over Finley.
I don't even care if it fails miserably, Pop has at least acknowledged the need for a stout perimeter defense if Bonner's playing alongside Duncan.
Baby steps, people.
Baby steps..
