Anyone else watching Bogans? What do you think?
Defense was much better in the second quarter.
But go ahead and everyone put a knife in the team already if you feel like it, I'll be crazy and watch the rest of the season.
Being down 11 is not too bad, but Parker being down sucks!
just get blair in the mix to grab some O board
Strangely, that makes sense...
Which game have you been watching? Game 1 of the 05 finals?
You have to hit more than 1 layup and 1 3 to be "feeling it".
We dont seem to playing any of the big men besides duncan
He is good. But, he needs to get involved in some sort of offense.
it's all ian mahimi's fault fricking selfish bas why can't he be good
and to think we looked like world beaters after game one. Long season Spurs fans. Its a long season. Calm the down.
Getting better, but where are the bigs? Dyess hasn't looked good and obviously Bonner hasn't looked good, but not even a Blair or Theo sighting in the 2nd?
I hate small ball.
51 points looks great compared to last night... We might actually hold them under 100 pts tonight!
look how much help the Blazers had from there bench in that half.
Yea, some serious overreactions going on in this thread and probably outside of it.
I'd be shocked if the Spurs win this game. They played about as well as they are going to play in the second quarter and didn't make much of a dent.
Manu needs to settle down and play smarter. Hill needs to step up. Duncan needs to add a jump or two to his repertoire. Jefferson needs to keep attacking the rim. Pop can't simply run small ball the rest of the way.
Bonner actually looked pretty decent for the six or seven minutes he was in. He didn't score, but he kept Aldridge 0-3 for 0 points during his time in there, so he played good D.
Ok, only down by 11. This game isn't out of reach by any means. 3rd quarter isn't usually when we shine, however...I'll be interested to see if we can pull this one off.
Portland.
I'm not going to panic. I am just wondering why all of the experimental small ball.
I think we all got that already.
We need more length. Looks like Timmy vs the world out there on defense. Especially when it comes to defensive rebounding.
Sorry, too lazy to go back and see what you were asking for. But Tony did turn his ankle on a non-contact play against Miami following the 55pts from the night before.
Great ball denial defense.
However, can't defend the like of Roy on the dribble and has absolutely no offense so far.
Why can't the Spurs just have this at ude from here on out:
Other teams about to feel the wrath of a menace. Get out the way yo, get out the way yo, The Blazers just got dropped.
Bring back the morning practices.
I'm not hating on his defense. He's actually probably played some of the better defense out there. It's just having him out there on offense is a shot in the leg to the team right now.
