you guys are delusional
the spurs defense was decent, but i dont think any of you can honestly say that their defense had that much to do with dallas missing all those wide open shots. typical spurfans
again, props to the spurs for playing a good game, but no way in was it the spurs defense that was stopping the mavs. the mavs stopped themselves with complete dumbassery all night long.
Seems like that would fit you moreso since you made this thread.. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

lol Mavs
Fear not, Stretch, that bitter taste in your mouth is just from where the Spurs took a .
lol discrediting the Spurs defense
whatever helps you sleep at night... yes the mavs missed some open shots but thats every nba game. Players miss open shots. The spurs missed alot of open shots tonight too. The spurs were energized on both offense and defense and they stopped the mavs from scoring.

Mavs 35% shooting.... thats not just cold shooting.... dont be a bag.
I still think Kidd and Barea are gonna get torched against most starting PGs.
As far as the C is concerned, the hype about Drew Gooden was all true....he actually is THAT worthless. And Marion can't guard centers.
lol still talking
Give it up, you pathetic .
The Mavs need to incorporate Beaubois in the rotation as soon as he's ready and put Barea at the end of the bench.
LOL 6' 7" rookie with no ACL's blocking the caveman
LOL putting it in the hole in the face of Dirk and Kidd
they played well. but there were a lot more shots that the mavs would normally hit that they didnt tonight. if the mavs simply were missing the normal amount of shots that they miss as you are basically saying they did, then the spurs might as well not even play duncan and tony because with the team they have now, they are better than the mavs. that is what your logic is saying, and it makes no sense whatsoever.
Are you kidding me? Dirk was the only reason they got within 5 in the 4th quarter.
Blame Carlisle for having no offensive ideas other than "dump it to Dirk 20 feet from the basket and let him go really slowly into his one-on-one offense." Why? They had success getting it up the floor quickly and letting Kidd and Terry work, along with a bit of Marion.
All the Spurs had to do was to throw different defensive looks at Dirk every time, ignore everyone else, pack the lane, and get the rebound.
Popovich did a really nice job of throwing big, small, no double, quick double, and double on the third bounce at him. He was a bit flummoxed.
Also Carlisle stayed with the zone long after it became ineffective. He was just hoping the Spurs didn't make shots. They did go cold in the 4th but then got it back at the end. Apparently Carlisle doesn't know how to get his team to play tough 4th quarter D either.
