Don't think Pop can do much with TP there. TP's a scoring guard who needs the ball, not a defensive disruptor nor a creative distributor.
Doesn't this just feel like a loss to the Bucks to you?![]()

I agree about pop needing to stop with the bs lineups. As for defense.. duncans rotation on defense hurt the spurs huge in the 3rd. If he would have rotated better I think okc wouldn't have gone on that huge run and the spurs would have won the game.
Did he have a timeout? OK City radio kept saying he didn't have one to call.
Pop needs to figure out how to use the SF since bruce's years the SF was the last option
That's why I was disappointed with the Dice acquisition. It's an upgrade of course from Thomas, but it did nothing to address our stunning lack of speed and athleticism. Dice is an old jump shooter.
too many ball handlers, Pop has to bring 2 of those guys off the bench.
This team still lacks athleticism.
It's gonna bite them in the ass
there was no timeouts left and also tony had to take the shot because there wasn't enough time to pass it to anyone else.
And then we play in Dallas on Wednesday. That should be fun.
Brandon Jennings 55 points?????
What a stud. WOW.
LOL Ruff maybe the International League Pass Broadband people were trying to tell us something by making us watch that game instead of the Spurs. I should have just watched that game instead of this crap the Spurs put out there for us.
Trade for SJax if it is available. This team needs him. He would also be great so we can rest some players that need it like TP and Manu.
Definitely would be a great trade.
wrong, dice is a good athlete even in his current age...
God Im starting to hate the Thunder more and more.
Duncan did slack on that one Collison shot. But the reality here is that Westbrook was going straight to the rack and that entirely on TP. Duncan is good, but he's not what he use to be and so he need some help from te perimeter guys.
That's why weak links like Finley are a problem too.
TP needs to bring the energy from the start of the game to set the tone for the rest of the team
Wow - I was at a party tonight so I only got to hear the last 6 minutes on the radio. What happened to the Spurs tonight? It seemed they had no offensive rhythm. And what's with Manu? We played so well against Dallas - we get Tim and Tony back and the team can't play worth crap.
I hate it when we lose to these young teams that aren't really that good. Teams that WON'T make the playoffs. And now we don't play again until Wednesday - too much time off between games right now.
Sure he can. TP used to play a lot better defense when Pop would get in his face.
I think you answered your own question when people go out and then come back after a couple games the rhythym will probably be off.
stop posting in my threads
To me, it sounded like(I didn't have video) the Spurs haven't yet figured out how to play with all of their pieces. It's one of those deals where with injuries, then other players are allowed to go out and expand their roles and play free. Once those injured guys go back, their roles are downscaled and then they do what? They don't play free, they play limited. I think that later in the season, the roles are clearly defined and they all learn to be free but they ain't there yet and they won't be until they just are. We all hope they can get there, in fact, I bet money on it.
Yuck. Phooey.
Don't know what it is about implementing rotations on defense that is not getting understood by this team. Especially the veterans of this team.
@ at anybody wanting to add a 5th ball stopper
Did Parker take the last shot? I saw Durant miss the first free throw and my screen saver locked me out of the computer; when it does that with Broadband up, it locks up and I have to turn it off. Missed the end of the game.
Broadband is also lagging like crazy now, I can't even watch it on the small screen. I might try buying more temporary memory or something, but I didn't have any problems last year on the same computer, same network.
Pop should have played McDyess more, he only played 19 minutes.
Clearly Tim and Tony need to be traded.
Seriously though, The Thunder deserve a lot of credit. They're a good young up-and-coming team and they're clearly further along and closer to the team they're going to be than the Spurs are at this point.
George was unbelievable with his ball-denial and defense on the Durantula, though..
Here's hoping that Manu's injury doesn't keep him out of any games.
I hate it when the Spurs lose. It was a bad showing, plenty of blame to go around, but what's distressing is that Tim really looks old, forget he scored plenty of points he was never a factor in this game. Offensively or defensively, Manu showed signs of a superstar whose past his prime, he'll have great games but then he'll have Ofers. Jefferson looked like a deer caught in the headlights, he froze when Bogan got what should have a huge steal, and just gave it away. I'll let Tony slide cause he looks like he is still hobbled, but Timmy and Manu look like they need rehab.
