You also didn't get my point, you told the other dude the bold part in his post was wrong, you never say in "my opinion", or something of that nature. If you get paid so much for your opinion you should know that scientific studies in field of weight/strength training are limited and many times contradictory, its funny how scientists and doctors dont really spend too much helping meatheads gain an extra pound of muscle and are instead concentrating on curing diseases. If you get paid so much then you should know that at the end of reputable articles people have "references" to help validate their opinion, something you didnt do. its not about what you said its about how you said it.

but thats just my humble opinion, i dont get paid like you, i only have a 142 iq, and am beginning work on a PhD in January.

There is a lot of hostility in your replies. Why are you so emotional? It might be time to get your estrogen levels checked brah, you remind me of a female. Anyways, I must have missed where I was writing an article and everyone was citing references at the end of their posts. When did that happen? When did that become the standard for replies in this thread? I was simply trying to help the OP by sharing knowledge with him that I have gained through real world experience. Take it or leave it I really don't give a . You also went on to contradict yourself when you mentioned that studies in strength training are limited and often contradictory. So to sum up your post, I should cite limited and contradictory studies in order to validate my opinion. Well thanks for the pointless hissy fit. That was very productive. All that bawwwing because I didn't say in my opinion.

And seriously, did you just cite your iq? You are such an e-badass.

But that's just my humble opinion. I'm only 7'3 400 lbs at 2% body fat with an iq of 170 and a 15 inch that I supermodels with every night in the back of my Bentley limousine...... Oh yea and I want to be a Doctor when I grow up too.

I'am not saying creatine is cheating cause it's NOT IMO but your body makes testosterone also but injecting it is cheating...
High levels of testosterone do bad things to your system. Creatine doesn't completely alter your body's chemistry. It just helps your muscles operate more efficiently.

Kind of like putting alcohol vs. octane boost into a gas tank. One gives you fireworks and then an explosion, the other just makes the car run better (provided you have a high output engine).

oh! haha! naturally produced creatine and creatine you mix in a drink and put into your body are not two completely different things??

Creatine does make your muscles look bigger but you will be much weaker than someone of equal muscle size that does not use creatine because in the end all it really does is make your muscles retain more water. Hence they look bigger. You really don't get muscle mass from creatine.

So it's like purely a glamor supplement. I'd say you're better off drinking protein shakes.

Since when have we agreed on things? I'm always on about how instant gratification is a slippery slope, and here you are saying it.

Eat properly, exercise properly, who needs supplements?

I'd stay away from creatine because there have been no long-term studies on its effect on things like suppressing natural creatine production in the body. When there's no long-term science, how can you trust it? I notice a lot of websites that sell the stuff neglect to mention that there's been no long-term studies on the side effects of creatine supplements. Surprise, surprise, eh?

    "True".

Interesting definition. I guess the people who have seen their reps and press go up faster than they were without creatine are just false, then.

As long as you have the basics.... most important, in order.

    1. Protein (Consume 1g of protein for 1g of body weight MINIMUM if you want good gain)
    2. Creatine (Make sure you ALWAYS cycle off after a dose, so your body stays 'natural')

After these two you start to get into your hardcore region IMO.

    3. Nitric Oxide
    4. Test Booster

Basically nitric oxide is a mental focus, energizer. It makes you go nuts in the gym if you take it the right way . Sometime im there for 2 hours, and i just dont wanna leave. It makes you go harder for longer.

Test booster, i probably wouldnt touch if im just starting.

Oh and remember you should eat protein rich foods as part of your general meals so you dont have to force down 5 shakes a day to get the optimum amount of protein .

Since were on the subject, have any of you got some good supplements i could try....

    At the moment im on...

    Protein - ON Whey 100%
    Creatine - Gaspari SizeOn
    Nitric Oxide - SuperPump250

Ive never tried test booster, but if anyone has a good one im thinking of starting to look into it...
